Born and raised in a small farming community in Idaho, Caleb’s love for music began in the church he attended with his parents and two brothers. Music was a big part of their country church, and there were choirs, soloists and a even make-shift orchestra. But something about the vibrance and passion in the music, made him interested in playing an instrument himself.

Caleb started taking piano lessons at 5 years old, but only continued for 2 years. After severals years of teaching himself basic chords and ear training, he began playing in church when he was 12. As his talents grew throughout middle school, he composed several original songs that his school choir and band performed.

At 16, Caleb co-wrote a full-length musical containing around 24 original songs, with best friend, Alison Holman. Together, they staged and workshopped the musical with a cast of 20 volunteer actors, performing both in Idaho and Utah.

At 19, during his time as a full-time music director, he reestablished a neglected tradition of a community-wide Singing Christmas Tree, complete with choir, soloists and orchestra. He also made appearances in several community theatre productions. (Fiddler on the Roof 2001, Little Shop of Horrors 2003, Bartholdi's Lady 2003)

In 2005, Caleb moved cross-country to Nashville to further his musical ambitions. It was there he found a writing home with Daywind and Brentwood-Benson Publishing, and collaborated with several established songwriters, including Dove award-winners, Sue C. Smith, Joel Lindsey and Wayne Haun. His songs have been recorded by many of today’s top gospel and country artists including the Crabb Family, Dailey & Vincent, The Lewis Family, The Perrys, Calvin Hunt, Hissong, Reggie & Ladye Love Smith, Sue Dodge, Lillie Knauls, Ty Herndon, and The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. And the list continues to grow.

In 2007, Caleb’s debut hymns project “Classic” became a Family Christian Bookstore exclusive in 300+ stores nationwide. His follow-up album, “Christmas”, was also carried in Family Christian Bookstores and featured on several top websites heralding rave reviews.

In 2010, Caleb produced, arranged, wrote and orchestrated his critically acclaimed project “Dream”. The project showcases his songwriting and genre versatility. It covers a wide spectrum of themes and captures the heart of Caleb’s journey thus far, speaking of God’s love, acceptance and hope for those who are hurting.

Outside of solo performances, Caleb has also had the privilege of performing with several prominent artists including: David Archuleta, Orla Fallon (Celtic Women), Geron Davis, Morris Chapman, Michael English, Point of Grace, The Crabb Family, Natalie Grant, Taranda Greene, Phil Driscoll and Israel Houghton. Caleb has received two Dove Award nominations for his songwriting and several of his songs have reached the charts in gospel radio. Caleb now resides in NYC where we works with the Grammy Award-winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. As the reach of his influence broadens, Caleb’s vision is to continue creating unique, timeless music that encourages people to love God and love others
