These last few months have been a whirlwind for me! I’ve been getting everything ready for the live recording I did on March 20th with Morris Chapman and Destiny McGuire in Memphis. Getting all the orchestrations written and recorded, rehearsing the choir, picking out choir robes, deciding what to wear....But, it turned out great! I can’t wait for you to see and hear the magic moments that happened during the concert.
I also made an appearance on TBN in Memphis last month. My brother, Josh, came to visit me from Idaho. It was so good to get to spend time with him.
And the big news: I’m moving to San Diego!!!
For the last year or so I’ve been living in Nashville; commuting to Memphis every weekend, leading worship in a church there. It’s a 3 hours trip one way. But that chapter of my life has gracefully closed and I’m off to California, land of sunshine, hippies and earthquakes.
I’m not sure exactly what to expect in California. All I know is that God is leading me there. And I’ve learned to trust the directing of his Spirit. So, a new adventure is beginning.
I’ve always been an adventurer at heart. I’ve always loved traveling, meeting people from different cultures and learning about their lives. I’ve backpacked in Europe 4 times, worked on 2 Caribbean cruise ships, slept in my car numerous times, lived in parsonages, recorded on the French countryside, camped in the Swiss Alps, gone on mission trips to Mexico, and........there’s an upcoming international venture I’ll be embarking on in April.
I got my first European booking!! I consider that monumental! I’ll be in Holland for Easter. I’ve always had a heart for Europe, and I’m so excited to finally get to sing there. I’ll be singing at a conference in Den Haag, Holland. I already have a handful of fans there, so I’m looking forward to meeting all of them, and hopefully making some new friends as well.
I’m so glad that I get to share my life journeys with you!! Life is too short to not accomplish all you want to. We only have one life. I don’t want to get on my deathbed and have regrets and wish I had done more while I had the chance. I want to live a full life and make a difference.
Much love,
Caleb
